Max Weiss, general manager of
the United Dairies, died Jan. 13.
He was 58 and lived at 17138

most popular professors at the
Hebrew Union College, will be

Dr. Bettan is a graduate of
the University of Cincinnati
and was ordained at the HUC,
where he also received his D.D.
degree.
Before joining the HUC facul-
ty, he headed a reform congre-
gation in West Virginia and
served as a chaplain in the first
World War. He is the author of
many books and tracts.
A social hour will follow each
meeting of the institute. Re-
