The Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation sent a
group of its seasoned campaign-
ers across the border last week to
help its Windsor neighbors
launch their 1948 Welfare Fund
Drive.

The war in Palestine has
placed a heavy burden upon the
Moatzoth Hapoloath of Israel,
sister organization of the Pio-
neer Women.
A budget of $1,000,000 is
needed for shelters, to evacuate
women and children from war
zones, for a central supply
building in Jerusalem, children's
homes, youth training farms and
other projects.
To meet this challenge, Pio-
neer Women in the United
States have mobilized all their
forces to see that Moatzoth Hap-
oloath has the funds to carry
out its work.
Detroit Pioneer Women are
hoping to raise a big share of
their quota at their donor event,
Dec. 6 at Masonic Temple.
