Plans Nuptials in June
Stanford A. Wallace,
Cleveland Girl Wed
A backdrop of silver, trimmed
with trees of white chrysanthe-
mums, candelabra and woodwar-
dia ferns, formed the setting for
the marriage of Renee Gaines to
Stanford A. Wallace.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel T. Gaines
of Shaker Heights, 0. Mr. and
Mrs. Herbert Wallace of Pen-
nington drive are parents of the
bridegroom.
Rabbi Barnett R. Brickner per-
formed the ceremony, Oct. 23 at
the Cleveland Hotel.
The bride wore a white, trans-
parent velvet gown, unadorned
except for a yoke of alencon
lace. The softly draped skirt
ended in a long train. Her veil,
an heirloom of her grandmoth-
er's, was of Belgian lace. She
carried a bouquet of orchids and
stephanotis.
Attending the bride were Mrs.
Earl Chapman of Chicago, Carol
Evans of New York City and
Mrs. Leonard Lane of Cleve-
land.
Marshall Wallace served his
brother as best man and Arnold
Wallace and Sheldon Kushner
were ushers.
The couple are spending their
honeymoon in Bermuda. Upon
their return, they will make
their home at 16221 Lawton
avenue, Detroit.
The bride is a graduate of
Cornell University, where she
was affiliated with Sigma Delta
Tau. Mr. Wallace is a graduate
of the University of Michigan,
where he was a member of Sig-
ma Alpha Mu.
