•
He is an attorney, a home-owner, a father.
•
He has been a worker, a business man, a teacher.
•
He has been a government administrator, serving with the
Works Progress Administration and the War Manpower
Commission.
•
He is Executive Director of the Citizen's Housing and
Planning Council, a non-partisan civic organization that has
led the way in seeking solutions to Detroit's most urgent
problems.
•
He is an outstanding leader among volunteer citizens'
groups and committees working to make Detroit a cleaner,
better place for people to live.

He is one of those forward thinking Americans who be-
lieves in the human rights of all people.
On his record and on our knowledge of him as an indi-
