Hadassah opened Oct. 7 at the
Jewish Center.
After Shirlvy Schubiner, presi-
dent, welcomed new and old

three vice-presidents, Judy Pre-
gerson, Audrey Gelfand and
Helen Karabenick, who will co-
ordinate the activities of fund-
raising, program and member-
ship. respectively.
The meeting reached its cli-
max with a speech by Marge
Slutsker, national representative
to the region, who gave her rea-
sons "Why I Am a Zionist" and
"Why I have Chosen Junior Ha-
dassah as the Group Through
Which I Can Most Effectively
Live and Learn Zionism."
