officiated.
For her marriage, the bride
chose a brocaded satin ankle-
length suit of champagne color.
Cinnamon color accessories com-
pleted her ensemble. She car-
ried a white Bible adorned with
orchids and stephanotis.
Mrs. Harry H. Manheimer was
matron of honor and Russell
Greenberg was best man.
The couple left for a honey-
moon in Canada.
Henrietta Cooper,
Harvard Student Wed
Henrietta Cooper, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Cooper of
Stoepel avenue, was married
Sept. 4 in Los Angeles to Lee T.
Mirell, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.
Mirell of that city.
The bride-is a graduate of
Wayne University, where she
majored in journalism. Her hus-
band, a graduate of UCLA, Is
enrolled at Harvard law school.
The Thomas Cowens, formerly
of Glynn court, are residing in
their new home at 18611 Ohio
'avenue.
MRS. MALCOLM LOWENSTEIN
Before an altar draped with ivory satin and adorned with
ferns and beautiful arrangements of seasonal flowers, Beth Elaine
Srere was united in'marriage to Malcolm Samuel Lowenstein.
Dr. A. M. Hershman and Rabbi Morris Adler officiated at the
7 o'clock, candlelight service, Wednesday at the Hotel Statler.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. 'and Mrs. Abraham Srere of
Boston boulevard west. Her husband's parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Lowenstein of Forest Hills, Hamilton, 0.
The bride chose a gown of Cattoir taffeta in candlelight
shade, styled with a closely-fitted bodice and with a very bouffant
sl-irt, panniered at the hipline. A small Peter Pan collar, ap-
pliqued with heirloom lace, topped the slender bodice.
The tight sleeves came to a point over her hands and were
edged with bits of the lace, and the skirt ended in a full-length
circular train. Her veil of candlelight illusion was held to her
head by a small bonnet of rosepointe lace and fell beyond the
edge of her train.
She carried a family prayerbook adorned with a center of
white orchids 'and edged with phaclanopsis.
The bride's attendants were Mrs. Arnold Gross of Buffalo,
N.Y., sister of the bridegroom, matron of honor, and Betty Mae
Becker of Cedar Rapids, Ia., Mrs. Robert Feinberg of Boston,
Lois Bendes of Rockford, Ill., and Mignon Ginsburg of Detroit,
bridesmaids. Linda Schaye was flower girl.
Allan Silver, cousin of the bridegroom, served as best man.
Seating the guests were Dr. Arnold Gross of Buffalo, Charles
Wurtzerger of Memphis, Tenn., William Goodman of Dayton, O.,
Don Cisle of Hamilton and Brewster Broder of Detroit.
After an extended trip to Colorado Springs and California,
the couple will make its home in Hamilton.

daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Abromovich of Pingree avenue,
became the bride of Richard Liss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman

The bride wore a gown of slipper satin, with a boat neckline,
tight bodice and bustle back. Her juliette cap of lace had a
fishtail arrangement of lace in back and was adorned with a band
of orange blossoms.
