was the scene of the marriage of
Ruth Soifer, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Abraham Soifer of GlyrNi
court, to Milton Leonard Caplan,
son of Mrs. Sarah Caplan of
Woodingham drive. Rabbi Morris
Adler officiated.
The bride wore a gown of
white satin with seed pearls on
the Peter Pan collar and the up-
per part of the sleeves.' Her cap
was of matching seed pearls, and
the veil was of rosepoint heir-
loom lace. She carried a white
Bible adorned with white orchids.
Attendants for the bride were
Shirley Soifer, her sister, maid
of honor, and Mrs. Alfred Bern-
stein, Mrs. Joseph G. Gilbert,
Mrs. Raymond Engelman, Mrs.
Lester Small, Bernice Sheplow
and Edith Faleck, bridesmaids.
Julius Fink served as best man
and Dr. Raymond Engelman, Mil-
ton Feigenblatt, Alvin E. Garfield,
Joseph G. Gilbert, Sydney Soifer,
and Alfred Bernstein as ushers.
For their honeymoon, the
newlyweds motored to Montreal
and then took a boat trip to
Quebec City. They are making
their home on Ewald Circle.

Getting Married?

MRS. SIIELDON BESSMAN
The marriage of Ruthe Katz to Sheldon Bessman was solemn-
ized by Rabbi Morris Adler in an impressive double ring cere-
mony at Shaarey Zedek.
Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Katz are parents of the bride. Mr.
Bessman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bessman.
The bride presented a lovely picture in her gown of gleaming
sea-blue satin, styled in the manner of a Viennese court dress.
Her long-sleeved bodice was fashioned with a deeoly-rounded
neckline, edged with a bertha exquisitely embroidered with seed
pearls.
The tiny-waisted skirt, which fell in graceful folds to a
circular train, was accented with a draped hustle, and a matching
bonnet of satin held in place her three-tiered veil of illusion.
A white Bible adorned with orchids and stephanotis was carried
by the bride.
Edythe Borin was maid of honor and Freda Ginsburg of Ann
Arbor and Harriet Keller were bridesmaids. Sandra Littky served
as junior bridesmaids.
Serving as best man was Robert Koslove, while Jack Rosner
and Dr. Samtiel Glassman were ushers and Ira G. Ilarris, junior
