Julius Elsons Back
From Honeymoon
Mr. and Mrs. Julius Elson,
whose marriage took place July
20, have returned from their
honeymoon in Montreal and New
York City and are residing at
the Wilshire Hotel.
Mrs. Elson is the former Lil-
lian Wurm, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Max Wurm. Mr. Elson is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elek
Elson.
Rabbi A. M. Hershman officiat-
ed at the ceremony assisted by
Cantor Jacob H. Sonnenklar. A
dinner and reception followed.
Mrs. Herbert Bleiberg, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor,
and Gerald Rosenbloom served as
best man.
Mrs. Phyllis Franzel of Park-
side avenue was hostess to 70
guests at a reception Thursday
evening following the concert
of the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra.
Honored guests were Dr. Ira
M. Altshuler and Ernest Salis-
bury, composers of the "Eloise
Symphony," the first movement
of which was presented for the
first time by the Detroit or-
chestra.
