DETROIT JEWISH CHRONICLE

After 10 Lonely Years

A joyful reunion in San Francisco ended the 10-year separa-
tion of Mrs. Edith Levi Wertheimer and her children, Peter
and Stern. Before the war the youngsters were sent from
Germany to sanctuary in Sweden, while their mother fled to
Shanghai. Soon after reaching haven in the U. S. Mrs. Wer-
theimer began making arrangements for immigration of the
children. They arrived in New York City with the aid of
United Service for New Americans.
