The Anglo-Jewish press will

one that will function as a strong
link between American Jewry
and Arid Jewry and keep the
American Jew well informed on

it who haven't sold their souls
to any one particular group or
faction and who dare to think in-
dependently and are unafraid to
criticize and point the way.
It must have men behind it

League Adds Gift
in Israel's' Crisis
Responding to the plea that
Jewish organizations dip into
their reserve funds for aid to
Israel in the emergency, the
Youth Education League will
sell $1,000 in bonds to make an
added contribution to the Allied
Jewish Campaign, Mrs. Sidney
Kalt, president, announced.
The plea was issued by Mau-
rice Aronsson, chairman of the
campaign, who pointed out that
"Allied Jewish Campaign con-
tributions are making history.
The money we give today will
keep the gatifs of Israel open for
thousands of European Jews."
