Lt. Roy F. Green
Reburied Here

Reburial services for , Lt. Roy
F. Green were held last Thurs-
day at Temple Beth El under
the auspices of the Lt. Roy F.
Green Post, Jewish War Veter-
ans, and the Rosenwald Post,
American Legion.
Lt. Green was killed Nov. 12,
1992, at Puerto Rico. Ile was a
star athlete at Wayne University,
where he was a member of the
varsity swimming team and of
Pi Tau Sigma fraternity.
Ills parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max
Greenberg, of 9005 Washburn
avenue; one brother, Russell;
and one sister, Mrs. Burton
Siegel, survive.

Final Rites Sunday
for Pvt. Harry Stevens

Services for Pvt. Harry Stev-
ens, 30, who died July 15, 1994,
in France, will be held at l

nevolent Society under the

Veterans.
Pvt. Stevens is survived by
his mother, Lena; two brothers,

mencement exercises of the
Temple Beth El High School at
8:15 p.m., Friday, May 28.
Rabbi Sidney Akselrad will
deliver the commencement ad-
dress on "Religion in a Scien-
tific age".
Student participants in the
service will include Mary Judith
Kallet, William Altman, Jerome
Bronson, Marjorie Freeman, Eva
Stern, Joan Striefling and Anita
Meskin. The valedictory will
be delivered by Richard Shway-
der.
Other graduates are Byna
Camden, Byron Canvasser, Con-
stance S. Levy, David Kreger,
Edwin Levenberg, Judith Mayer,
Shirley Mishcovsky, Carol Pop-
kins and Collette Salon.

Final Rites Held
for Pie. Gottlieb

Final rites for Pfc. Morton
Gottlieb of the Marine Corps,
who was killed in action May
9, 1949, at Guam, were held
Sunday at the Ira Kaufman
Chapel, under the auspices of
the Rosenwald Post, American
Legion. He was 20 years old.
Pfc. Gottlieb is survived by
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Gottlieb, of 2292 Blaine avenue,
and a twin brother, Alfred.

Beth Moses Sisterhood
Plans 'Night of Games'

Tickets are on sale for a
"Night of Games" of the Young
Women's Sisterhood of Congre-
gation Beth Moses, June 1 in the
Synagogue, BM Linwood ave-
