Here are some exclusive ex-
cerpts for our column as gath-
ered by the girls. Frankie
stopped munching a hamburger
and obligingly divided his time
between mobs of autograph
hunters and our three inquisitive
gals.
When asked about his style,
he became enthusiastic and said:
"It's the way I feel inside, I've
never sung any other way and
I wouldn't want to. The way I
sing is like I am".
At that moment, some wise-
cracker came out with "Besides
it makes the most money." To
which Frankie replied "Not for
12 years, it didn't."
'Frankie was born in Chicago
and attended Lane Technical
High there.

cause he's bald.

FRANKIE LAINE'S advice for
teenagers is just this: "Live
clean, and if you want to be
liked, be nice to all people."
This leads us into the part
where your reporter chatted
with Frankie just before he left
Detroit. We know that you've
heard about the Frankie Laine
Friendship Fan Club and here
is the story behind this wonder-
ful idea.
The basis, Frankie says, is to
create a feeling not only of
goodwill, but to help people in
any way possible regardless of
race, creed, nationality or any-
thing.
"Then kids, don't help some-
body because you expect to get

with Mike Feldman.
Admiring the cake were Ar-

Long Win Camps
See Record Year

I'm the symbol of good electric service ... your servant that runs everything
electrical.

This summer will mark the
13th season for Long Win Camps,
White Pigeon, Mich. The family
f Peter H. Leiderman, who di-
ect the camp, report that they
are forming plans_ for a record
year.
The aim of the organization
is to put into practice every
progressive idea towards making
camp experience the greatest ad-
venture a child can have, they
said.
Mrs. Leiderman will be in De-
troit . March 26-28 at Hotel
Statler to meet parents. The
Detroit representative is Mrs.
Sol Rosenman, TO. 8-2835.

I'm not like anyone you've ever seen before. My body is made of lightning
flashes—my nose a light bulb—my ears are outlets—and those two things
sticking out of my head are wisps of curly hair. I move silently in my rubber
shoes. I move swiftly too, at the speed of 186 thousand miles per second • • •
I'm the fastest thing on earth.

I'm your economical and willing servant who works long hours at low
wages. Whenever you want me I'll be waiting in your nearest REDDYBOX,
—electric outlet. Remember, just ... "PLUG IN,—I'M REDDY".
