This weekend in Ann Arbor
the annual "Hillel's-a-popping"
takes place with last year's win-
ners, the SDT gals aiming to
take the crown again . . . All
frats and sororities put on skits
with proceeds going to the UJA.
That was Janis Bennett whose
pic graced our daily papers last
week taken with Barrie 'O'Dan-
ids of the CH7ic Light Opera.
Al Menlo of Gamma Kappa
Chi, who arranged the per-
sonal appearance of Frankie
Laine at Wayne U's Brother-
hood Day, was almost adopt-
ed as a protege of Frankie's

Mike Klein is due back from

will present its first Jewish
dance festival, "Eternity in
Dance," April 14 in the Art In-
stitute.
Featured will be the interna-
tionally known dance team of
Delakova and Berk and a page-
ant by Hillel, other Wayne dance
groups and the Shearit Hapleyta
choir under the direction of Mrs.
Shirley Subar Sklash.

Jewish community institutions,
Hillel will be host to Herman
Jacobs, executive director of the
Jewish Community Center, at
noon, Tuesday. Jacobs will speak
on "The Me:fning of Jewish Cen-
ter."

ON WEDNESDAY, Max Chom-
sky, communal leader, will dis-
cuss "Judaism and Christianity,"
with the book by Trude Weiss-
Rosmarin as the basis for the
discussion.

THAT SAME DAY at 8 p.m.,
Rabbi Irwin Gordon will present
readings of the Megillah. A
Purim spiel, with hamantaschen,
will follow. Night students are
particularly invited.
