"The Zedakah Club has taken
special pride in being able to as-
sume the responsibility of caring
for aged persons for whom pro-
visions have not been made," she
said.
"By maintaining them in com-
fortable quarters, many have
been spared the ordeal of being
placed in institutions, where they
might not be happy," she added.
Zedakah also furnishes in-
fant's layettes to needy families
and to SOS. It's emergency re-
lief program provides food,
clothing and coal for the indi-
gent, Mrs. Levett said.
