Shipment of Refugees to Germany
Branded as Inhuman and Immoral

The communication called at-
tention to the fact that Britain's
action meant that the Jewish
refugees were being deported to
"the country from which most
of them fled as a result of their
Sufferings there," and 'simulta-
neously expressed confidence
that "the entire civilized world
joins the Jewish people in horror
at this vindicitive action, which
is illegal in view of Britain's
obligation under international
law to facilitate Jewish immigra-
tion into Palestine, and inhuman
and immoral in view of the par-
ticular circumstances of Ger-
many, the graveyard of so many
millions of Jews,"
