Dov Gruner Women's League -
Formed Here in Honor of Hero
The organization of the Dov
Gruner Women's League has been
announced by Mrs. Joseph Gross-
man. temporary president.
Purpose of the group is to help
perpetuate the memory of Dov
Gruner and his martyred coin-
rades. It will assist in raising
funds for a new colony in Galilee,
bearing the name Tel Guiborim-
Heroes' Hill, to settle families of
Palestine's patriots.
Isaac liaffieery, a member of
the staff of the Jerusalem Ham-
ashkiff who visited Detroit as the
representative of the League for
National Labor in Palestine,
which is sponsoring the settle-
ment, was instrumental in start-
ing the league.
Following are the other tempo-
rary officers: Mrs. Anthony Ro-
senfeld. vice-president; Mrs. M.
Manuel Merzon, secretary; Mrs.
Andrew Berger, treasurer; Mrs.
Theodore Katz. membership; and
Mrs Max Weisberg, telephone
squad. ,

treasurer; Ann Stollman, record-
