EVEN LEADERS in IIollwood
are becoming concerned over
the problem of divorce
The Motion Picture Magazine in-
vited Monsignor Sheen of the Ca-
tholic University Dr. Harry Emer-
son Fosdick of Riverside Church,
and Rabbi Sidney E. Goldstein to
discuss this question in the March
issue. Dr. Goldsteins statement
follows:

"First the facts. A report re-
cently issued by the Bureau of
Statistics of the Federal Govern-
ment discloses that in 1937 the
courts in the United States grant-
ed 249,000 divorces; and in 1945
allowed 502,000.
