Honors New Pledges

Married in Candlelight Ceremony

Sixteen new pledges of Sigma
Theta Delta Sorority, Wayne Uni-
versity, were honored at a dinner
Wednesday in the Wardell-Shera-
ton Hotel.
Those pledged were Norma
Spielberg, Helen Plotnik, Ruth
Shulevitz, Toby Gcrtzman, Ber-
nice Weisman, Shirley Zaft, Ro-
salie Whiteman, Lillian Jones, Ro-
selle Unatih, Marion Bamberger,
Bernice Tait, Beatrice Chodoroff,
Lorraine Friedlander, Pauline Ko-
misar, Barbara Rose and Jean
Hurwitz.

Sanford Warshawsky,
Shirley Selin Engaged

To Wed in June

Announcement has been made
of the betrothal of Shirley Selin,
daughter of Mrs. Joseph Selin of
Iron River, Mich., and the late
Mr. Selin, to Sanford Warshaw-
sky, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. C.
Warshawsky of Atkinson avenue.
Miss Selin attended the Uni-
versity of Michigan and will re-
ceive her public health degree
from Wayne University in June.
She is a graduate of the Henry
Ford Hospital school of nursing.
Her fiance attended Notre
Dame Univesity and is now a stu-
dent in Wayne's law school.

Mr. and Mrs. Sidney A. Barnett
of Sorrento avenue will return
Saturday, April 5, from Miami
Beach.

Judy Prcgerson is spending her
spring vacation from the Uni-
versity of Michigan with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Preger-
son of Webb avenue.

Florence Grossman is spending
the spring vacation from the Uni-
versity of Michigan with her par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Grossman
of Glynn court.

In a candlelight ceremony March 23 at Congregation Bnai David,
Faye Katz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Katz of Elmhurst avenue,
became the bride of Harry Rosenbaum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Rosenbaum of Cortland avenue.
