Sylvia Muriel Leiter and her
cousin Sheldon B. Krause gave a
cocktail patty for 125 members
of the younger set Jan. 31 in the
home of Sylvia's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Moe Leiter of Chicago boul-
evard west.
Sheldon is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. 'Edward Krause.
April nupLials are planned by
Adele Neiman, whose engagement
to Dr. Leo Edward Pollock of
Kansas City, Mo., has been an-
nounced by her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jacob B. Neiman of Wilde-
mere avenue.
Dr. Pollock is the son of Mrs.
Max Pollock and the late Mr.
Pollock. He was graduated from
tha University of Kansas medical
school and was an assistant in
surgery at Harvard University.
His fraternity affiliations are Phi
Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha
and Phil Delta Epsilon.
Miss Neiman attended the Uni-
versity of Michigan where she
was affiliated with Alpha Epsilon
Phi sorority.
