Mrs. Max Schwartz, Mrs. Sam
Seppen and Mri. Irving Kahn were
hostesses at a dinner and miscel-
laneous shower at Rosenberg's. A
luncheon was given by Mrs. Har-
old Kutzen and Miss Florence
Kutzen.
A dinner and a miscellaneous
fehower were given by Mrs. Louis
Robinson. Mrs. Dave Blanke. Mrs
Parry Freedman and Mrs. Harry
Elatnikoff. Mrs. Jack Horwitz en-
tertained with a luncheon at her
home. Miss Eveleen Budnitzky en-
tertained at a luncheon and per-
sonal shower at Frame's. Mrs.
Walter Hoffman completed the
festivities for the bride-elect with
a spinster tea at her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Phillips of
Calvert avenue left Sunday for St.
Petersburg, Fla., where they will
spend the winter months. Their
son Perry, a student at Michigan
State College, visited -:.iem during
his school vacation.

Celia Schmier, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Abe Schmier of Sher-
bourne road, has returned froth
Cincinnati, where she was the
house guest of Carol Levy, daugh-
ter of the Mark Levys.

Arnold A. Yerman entertained
recently at a buffet supper for his
guest, Suraj Shumshere Jung Ba-
hadur of India. Among the guests
