Marian Goodman Feted
3t Pre-Nuptial Affairs

Bride-elect Marian Goodman has
been entertained extensively prior
to her wedding Jan. 12 to Sidney
L Goldstein of New Haven, Conn.
Mrs. M. J. Greenberg extertained
with a luncheon in her home on
Calvert avenue. Mrs Emil Phil-
lips of Woodingham drive gave a
luncheon in her home. Maryan
Fleischer entertained with a din-
ner followed by a concert.
A luncheon and personal shower
was given by Mrs. Bernard Da-
vidson. A luncheon and hanker-
chief shower was given at Huy-
ler's by Mrs. Sam Simon. Jewel
Klein entertained with a luncheon
and miscellaneous shower at the
Hotel Book Cadillac.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Gottlieb
of Lawrence avenue honored the
bride-elect and her fiance at a
dinner.
Mrs. Jacob Schakne was hostess
at a luncheon in the Hotel Statler
terrace room. Mrs. Nathan Man-
deberg and Mrs. Harry Feinberg
were hostesses at a luncheon at
Huyler's.
On Wednesday, Dec. 11, Mrs.
Bernard Klein and Mrs. Theodore
Curtis were hostesses at a lunch-
eon ant kitchen shower at the
Hotel Book Cadillac, and on Thurs-
day, Mrs. Frank Grossman of
Muirland avenue entertained with
a luncheon at Huyler's. Winding
up festivities was a luncheon by
Mrs. Harry Meer in her home on
Shrewsbury drive.

Ira Hotchkiss,. Family
in Florida for Winter

Ira A. Hotchkiss and his family
left Dec. 24 for Hollywood Beach
Fla., to spend the winter months
in their home there.
Paul and Morton Weisman are
motoring to Hollywood Beach for
an extended visit with the Hotch-
kiss family.

Married in Double Ring Ceremony

MRS. MORRIS LIPNIK
Lois Wertheimer, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wertheimer of
Parkside avenue, became the bride
recently of Dr. Morri, Lipnik, son
of Mr. and Mrs. L. Lipnick of Ilene
avenue. The candlelight ceremony
took place at the Wardell-Sheraton
Hotel with Rabbi Morris Adler of-
ficiating.
The bride wore a filled basque
gown of candle-white satin with a
full train. She wore a veil of
French illusion held by a cap of
illusion with pearl and satin. Her
flowed were American bride-roses
and sprays of lillies of the valley.
Doris Wertheimer, the bride's
sister, was maid of honor and
bridesmaids were Doreen Sherman
and Lois Coggan. Rhoda Coggan
was junior bridesmaid and Carol
and Nancy Coggan were flower
girls.
Carl Lipnik was best man with
Dr. Fred Shevin and Dr. Charles
Friedgood as ushers. The couple
have returned from a honeymoon
in 'Chicago,

Iris Baskin Speaks
Her Marriage Vows

Iris Fern Baskin, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jay Baskin
of Cherrylawn avenue, became the
bride of Clifford C. Feldman in a
candlelight ceremony Dec. 26 at
the Hotel Book Cadillac. Feldman's
parents are. Mr. and Mrs. Sam
Feldman.
The bride's gown was of bridal
white satin with square sheer yoke
and outlined with folds of satin in
petal design. Tiny seed pearls were
encrusted on the front of the
bodice, which fell In a full skirt
and ended in a wide circular train.
The bride carried a Bible draped
with white orchids and streamers
of white satin knotted with ste-
phanotis.
The bride's attendants were Ar-
lene Waxman, sister of the groom,
matron of honor; Toby Weinstein
and Caroline Greenberg, brides-
maids; and Saundra Baskin, junior
bridesmaid.
Eddie Waxman was best man
and Morton Segal, Morton Metz-
ger, Morris Usher, Barney Rosen,
Herman Zusman and Felix Res-
nick were ushers. The couple left
for a month's wedding trip to
Florida.
