Paul went out on a patrol in en-
emy territory at Mouffat. France.
The Allied and German Armies ,
were locked in bitter action at
this spot and the outcome would
decide the trend of war for the
months to come. The Americans
won a costly victory, and Pau:
lost his life.
He was 24 years of age.
