Miss Eisman will relinquish the

education training, as she plans
to teach this subject while work-

Some time this summer, the
name Eisman will again appear
in this newspaper. This time it
will be under the caption "Wed-

VETERANS . .
Hubert Sidlow, 22, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Sidlow, of 2500
Glynn Ct., was the second veteran
to return to Wayne University.
That was in February of '44, three
months after he was discharged
from the Army Air Forces at
Sioux City, Iowa.
As a radio operator on B-24
heavy bombers, Sidlow was sta-
tioned in camps from coast to
coast. He was training to go over-
seas but never made the jaunt.
On May 1, Hubert and his fa-
ther opened the Ben S. Sidlow In-
surance Agency, 301 Transporta-
tion Bldg. Young Sidlow will con-
centrate on the GI end of the
business, and feels that as a vet-
eran he will be better able to ad-
vise along that line. He would
like to help vets in their insur-
ance problems, if only from a per-
sonal angle.
Now a business administration
junior, Sidlow plans to finish
school before devoting full time to
business. He is on the Hillel Coun-
cil at Wayne.

MAX SNYDER . .
Virtually every GI who has
spanned an infiltration course at
night remembers the sight of trac-
er bullets whizzing over his head.
Max Snyder, 21-year-old Wayne U.
freshman, saw one from a dif-
ferent angle.
Snyder was digging in around
St. Milo, France, when the Ger-
mans opened up. His excavating
was interrupted suddenly when
a bullet passed cleanly between
his legs. He dug the missile out
of the side of his foxhole and now
carries it as a token of a "close
call."
In December of '45, Snyder
walked out of Camp Atterbury,

NEW YORK - - "Protestants,
Catholics and Jews should re-

Clinchy, president of the National
Conference of Christians and
Jews, in his annual Passover- Eas-

"As Christians and Jews simul-
taneously observe their holy days,
Jews their Passover and Chris-
tians their Easter, it is well for
them to stress the principles
which they profess in common

The National Conference of

in 1928 to further justice, amity,
