Mr. and Mrs. Morris Ostrow, of Richton Ave., will celebrate their
53rd wedding anniversary on March 16. A dinner party has been
planned to take place in the Casino Room of the Book-Cadillac Hotel.
Gathered around the 53-year wedded bridal couple, will be their chil-
dren, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Ostrow have lived in Detroit for the past 40 years.
In 1927, their son, Ernest E., was admitted to the Bar and joined his
two other brothers, Samuel B. and Joseph S., in the law firm of Os-
trow, Ostrow & Ostrow. Their oldest son, Sol, has been connected with
the clothing business in Detroit for the past 25 years, and their young-
est son, Herman, has just been discharged from the United States
Army. In addition, they have four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Silverstein,
Mrs. Leah Marin, Mrs. Betty Karp, and Mrs. Yetta Bez.
Following the dinner, there will be an open house reception at the
home of Sol Ostrow, 17314 Cherrylawn Ave., where all the relatives
and friends will join in their good wishes. It will take place from 9
until 12 o'clock midnight. No cards.
