The Jewish Agency for Pal-
estine has submitted a 1500-page
report of detailed Nazi war
crimes against European Jews
collected from the refuge es who
reached Eretz Israel since the
outbreak of the war. Soon after
1939 the political department of
the Jewish Agency set up a spe-
cial section to investigate and
document the war crimes against

Jewish surveyors start work on a new Keren Ilayesod
settlement, on Keren Kayemeth land — one of twelve
agricultural settlements established in Palestine during
the past year by the agencies receiving their American
support through the United Palestine Appeal. These set-
tlements will provide homes, work and food for demobil-
ized Jewish servicemen and women as well as for new
immigrants from war-ravaged Europe. The United Pales-
tine Appeal, now marking its twentieth anniversary as the
central fund-raising instrument of American Jewry for the
uphuilding of the Jewish National florae in Palestine, has
aided in the expansion of every aspect of the economic
and cultural development of the Jewish homeland to
make possibly the reconstruction of Jewish life there on
sound and secure foundations.
