Dave Klein, who has return-
ed to his old position as night
superintendent of service at the
Royal Palm Hotel, Miami Beach,
is among the many Jewish he-
roes of World War II.
Klein was with the now fa-
mous "Snafu" task force of the
9th Armored Division at the
Siege of Bastogne that held olt
against irresistable odds prior to
the entry of the 101st Airborne
Division into the battle.
Since its opening and prior
to his entry into the service,
Klein was employed at the Royal
Palm Hotel, and upon his recent
discharge, returned to his for-
met' position.
A Chanukah party will take
place Sunday, Dec. 2, at the
Hebrew Parochial School, Lin-
wood and Elmhurst. Two plays
will be presented by the chil-
dren of the primary grades.
A debate "Why Remain a
Jew," will be presented by two
students of the high school, Ab-
raham Kar and Philip Rabino-
witz.
