MRS. EDWARD F. S. FRANK

(Miss Arlene June Epstein)

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kahn,
who have been the guests of their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Kahn,
have left for Seattle, Wash., to
make their future home, after a
residence in Ann Arbor, where
the latter was a student at the
U, of M.

The marriage of Arlene June Epstein, daughter of A. Epstein and
the late Mrs. Gussie Epstein of Blaine Ave., to Edward F. S. Frank.
son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Frank of Lawrence Ave., was performed
by Rabbi Leon Frans in the presence of both families and friends. at
8 o'clock on Saturday, June 16, at the Hotel Statler, before an im-
provised altar adorned with vases of white gladiola and snapdragons.
and lighted by cathedral tampers.

Robert Roman, son of Mr. and
Mrs. A. B. Roman, has left for
Chicago, where he has accepted
a position with the personnel de-
partment of The Bnai Brith Anti-
Defamation League.

The bride's gown of white lace was fashioned with at graceful
dropped shoulder line and deep yolk of illusion. The bodice was fitted
and the full skirt ended in a long circular train. Her finger-tin veil
of illusion fell from a coronet of lace. White orchids and gardenias
made up the bridal bouquet.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis B. Harrison
had, as their week-end guests,
Miss Ruth Hellner, her fiance,
Sol Zogut, and his• parents, of
Detroit.

Mrs. Florence Yagoda, sister of the bride was matron of honor.
Mrs. Yagoda wore a pink gown with matching veil.
The Misses Mary Ellen Pinny and Jean Harrison were bridesmaids.
Miss Pinny wore an aqua gown with matching veil. Miss Harrison
wore a blue gown with matching veil. The attendants all carried old-
fashioned bouquets.
The wedding party included Herman Frank, uncle of the groom,
as his best man. Ray Roberts and I Abramovitz were ushers.
The bride entered while Mrs. Doris Markle sang "Because" which
made a very beautiful picture.
A reception was held after the ceremony in the English Room
with dancing later in the Michigan Room.
Out of town guests included Martin Frank, brother of the groom,
who flew in from California; Mrs. Jeanne Sand, an aunt from New
York City; Mrs. M. Frank, an aunt from Chicago, and the groom's
grandfather, Victor Frank, from Chicago.
Following a fortnight's stay at the Edgewater Beach Hotel in
Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Frank returned to their apartment on Seward.
