Aid Jews in Poland

The Ezra Women's Division of
the Federation of Polish Jews
met Tuesday, June 12 at the
home of Mrs. Clara Blumenfield,
16639 Ward Ave. Mrs. Rose
Sharkey, the newly installed pres-
ident, presided.
Mrs. F. Stockier, chairman of
the donor luncheon which will be
held in November, appointed her
co-chairmen and captains, and
the drive for funds for the unfor-
tunate Jews in Poland has al-
ready begun.

HARRY LEFKOFSKY

conducted the services. Burial
was in Clover Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Lefkofsky was born July
1, 1887, in Toronto. He was the
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.
Lefkofsky, owners of the deli-
catessen shop at the Broadway
market. He was a member of the
Perfection Lodge, Moslem Tem-
ple, 32nd Degree Mason and
Temple Israel.
Ile is survived by his wife,
Lillian, 3322 Glynn Court; 'a
daughter, Mrs. Samuel J. De-
Cesare, three gramichhiren and
a brother, Goodman J. Lefkof-
sky.
