"Is It Love?" is the theme
of the second of a series of
eight Wednesday evening dis-
cussions on Pre-Marital and Mar-
riage Counseling subjects, under
the title "Hearts in Harmony,"
presented by the Jewish Com-
munity Center. This session will
be held at 8 p. m. Wednesday,
April 18. Dr. Marie I. Rasey will
be the speaker.
Dr. Rasey holds the post of
Professor of Educational Psych-
ology at Wayne University. She
receimed her Ph.D. from the Uni-
versity of Michigan where she
taught for several summer ses-
sions. She is the author of sev-
eral books and many articles in
her field.
Dr. Rasey will also appear as
guest lecturer at the third ses-
sion, April 25, on the subject of,
"Dating and Mating."
The fee for the eight weeks
series is $1.00 to Center mem-
bers and $2.00 to others.

Yiddish Stage Hit
Sunday, April 22

Paul Burstein, popular singing,
whistling and dancing comedian
of the Jewish stage, will be a
guest star here in his own pro-
duction of "Who Is Guilty," this
season's outstanding New York
Yiddish hit, which will be pre-
sented for only one performance
at the Scottish Rite Auditorium
of the Masonic Temple at 8:30
p. m. on Sunday evening, April
22.
The production, in two acts
and 10 scenes, which was staged
and directed by Mr. Burstein, is
an adaptation of Louis Freiman's
popular Jewish radio feature of
the same name, for which Ilya
Trilling composed a musical
score of folk songs. The play
just concluded a record-breaking
run at the Hopkinson Theater in
New York.
It will be presented here with
the entire original cast headed
by Max Rosenblatt, Henrietta
Jacobson, Julius Adler and Anna
Toback, and includes also such
well known Yiddish players as
Eli Mintz, brother of the late
Ludwig Satz; Flora Freiman,
Feivish Finkel, Sally Schorr, Si-
mon Wolf, Janet Paskewitch and
Isaac Arco.
"Who is Guilty?" has been
arranged by Oscar Green, noted
Jewish theater manager, under
the sponsorship of the Hebrew
Actors' union. Tickets can be
obtained at the Metro Music
House on Dexter.
