The last Hillel mixer to be
held this semester at the Bnai
Brith Hillel Foundation at the
University of Michigan will take
place from 8:30 to 12 p. m. on
Saturday evening, June 10. This
mixer will mark the end of
the United Jewish Appeal Cam-
paign, as well as the last big
social event sponsored by the
Foundation for this semester.
The quota of $6,000 for Ann
Arbor in the United Jewish Ap-
peal Campaign has already been
reached. Now, however, the
townspeople, faculty leaders and
students are being re-solicited.
The end of the student campaign
will be the occasion of this last
Hillel mixer.
This will be the first time that
Muriel Kleinwaks of Hillside,
N. J., and Thelme Zeskind of
Washington, D. C.. will act in
their newly elected capacity of
co-chairmen of the social com-
mittee. Elise Zeme of Detroit is
the student director in charge
of the affair.
All the expenses of the mixer
will be taken care of by the
Foundation, and all the proceeds
from the 25 cents admission
charge will go to the United Jew-
ish Appeal Campaign.
There will be dancing, refresh-
ments, hostesses, games and en-
tertainment at the mixer. Also,
the evening will feature a door
prize and an auction prize.
