Detroit Historical Museum Building
Campaign Opens May 15

Detroit's technological and industrial
achievements have probably done
more to shape modern civilization
than the achievements of any other
city in the world. Moreover, our
citizens now have the resources.
imagination, creative genius .and ex-
perience to enable them to under-
take more and greater industrial
projects than ever before in the years
that lie ahead.

History is in the making in Detroit
NOW—living history that deserves
to be displayed proudly and ade-
quately in a great museum in which

our children and our children's chil-
dren may learn and be inspired.
Therefore, we need a museum
worthy not only of Detroit's past
great contributions to the world's
progress but a museum adequate to
preserve the record of today's and
tomorrow's achievements.

The plans for such a museum to be

built after the war are in progress

now. Detroiters of every station

should be proud to help assure the
complete success of this museum
plan NOW!
