Two hundred Jewish patients
of Eloise and Ypsilanti State
Hospitals will enjoy Passover
service and food during the holi-
to week. These plans are made
ossible by the Hospital Visiting
Council, a new group formed for
the purpose of coordinating serv-
ices for Jewish patients at these
hospitals by the Detroit Jewish
organizations.
Rabbi Max J. Wohlgelerntef,
chaplain of Eloise, is chairman of
this Council.
A full Passover menu has been
planned and will be prepared by
the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Jew-

Home Relief Society
To Participate in
Passover Program
Over 100 women attended the
paid-up membership luncheonette
and meeting of the Home Relief
Society held Monday, March 27,
at the home of Mrs. Morris Ros-
enberg, 19271 Strathcona Drive.
A vote of thanks was given to
Mrs. Morris Rosenberg and Mrs.
.1. Sylvan, membership chairmen,
for their splendid efforts in mak-
ing the affair such a success.
Mrs. Irving H. Small, president,
c alled on Mrs. Maurice Garelick,
Mrs. Maxwell Emmer and Mrs.
Harry Shulman to give a short
summary of Home Relief's case
work, war efforts program and
hospital visiting committee. It
was announced by Mrs. Shulman
that Home Relief will participate
in a Passover program and will
serve dinner to the Jewish in-
mates of Ypsilanti and Eloise
during the week of Passover, and
that visits to Receiving Hospital,
Northville and other hospitals
will be made during the holidays.
Anyone wishing to take part in
these visits, call Mrs. Shulman,
Townsend 8-2784. Mrs. Barney
Newman, chairman of the cookie
committee, sends cookies each
month to the Percy Jones Hos-
pital in Battle Creek, and that
anyone wishing to donate to this
worthy cause may contact her
at Townsend 5-3600.
