JWEWO to Give Theater
Benefit at Littman's Apr. 11
A special meeting of the Jew-
ish Women's European Welfare
Organization will be held Mon-
day, March 27, at 1 p. m., at
the Congregation Bnai Moshe.
Dexter and Lawrence.
At this meeting reports will
be heard from the investigating
commit tees. Recommendations
from the board will be heard in
behalf of sending aid for Pass-
over to orphaned families in Pal-
estine by cable; also to orphaned
families in our country by mail.
Final arrangements will be
made for the theater benefit to
be given Tuesday, April 11, (Chol
Hamoed Passover) at Littman's
People's Theater; Mesdames Ben
Feldman and I. Israel are the
chairmen of this affair.

At an open meeting to be held
on Monday, March 27, Pisgah
Women No. 122, Bnai Brith, will
honor their past president, Mrs.
Charles Solovich, who is now
president of Women's District
Grand Lodge No. 6, in recogni-
tion of her outstanding accom-
plishments in behalf of Bnai
Brith. The 1944 class of new
members, comprising all women
who have joined since the initi-
ation ceremony a year ago will
be known as the "Frances Solo-
vich Class" and will be initiated
in an impressive and solemn
ceremony to be performed by the
Pisgah Women initiatory degree
team under the capable guidance
of Mrs. Samuel S. Aaron, initi-

Rabbi Jeliudah Cohen, director
of the Hillel Foundation at the
University of Michigan, will de-
