party on Monday evening, Dec.
27, in the social hall of the Bnai
David Synagogue. The Ladies
Auxiliary will be the guests of
the evening. A donor party for
members will be held Tuesday
evening, Jan. 11 at the Wilshire
Hotel. Mrs. Ruth Garvin is chair-
man. Mrs. Traisin will be chair-
man of the annual games party
to be held on Monday evening,
Jan. 24 in the social hall of the
synagogue. There will be many
prizes of interest and door prizes.
All proceeds go towards the
maintenance of the Bnai David
Religious School which is spon-
sored by the Sisterhood.

was killed in a plane crash in
Idaho; son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben-
jamin Buttner, 3002 Grand Ave.
West. Buttner was one of eight
airmen killed Sunday in a f our-
engined army bomber crash at
Pocatello, Ida., public relations

Buttner was 22 years old, was
a radioman and aerial gunner. He
enlisted in the Army Air Corps
15 months ago and received his
training at Laredo, Tex., and Salt
Lake City, Utah. He was a gradu-

Transmission Division of the Gen-

survived by three sisters, Mrs.
