MESSAGE
WASHINGTON (WNS)—President Roosevelt sent a Rosh
Hashonah message to the Jews of America lauding the Jewish
contribution to the war effort and praising their loyalty as
American citizens. The message reads:
"To those of the Jewish faith upon this
anniversary of their New Year, I send greet-
ings. At the same time I welcome the oppor-
tunity it affords me to express again my ad-
miration of the contribution which this loyal
group of our fellow citizens has made to the
nation's achievements during the past year on
the inexorable march toward victory."
