Jr. Hadassah Observes
Tag Day Nov. 29

Molly Segal Auxiliary of the
Jewish Consumptive Relief So-
ciety of Denver, Col., has com-
pleted its final plans for its 11th
annual banquet, which will be
held Dec. 6 at Schiffs and Moss
Auditorium. Mrs. S. Saidman and
Mrs. Waterstone are the chair-
men. The president, Mrs. A. Gold,
will introduce the toastmaster,
Rev. David Golden, and the guest
speaker will be Rabbi Jacob Un-
ger, well known Zionist leader.
There will be music during the
dinner, and dancing to the music
of Morris and his orchestra.
For further details call Mrs.
A. Greenfield, publicity chairman,
To. 8-6020.

Sunday, Nov. 29, is Jewish
National Fund Tag Day. Marion
Apple, J. N. F. chairman of
Jr. Hadassah. is asking for the
assistance of all members for
tag day collection.
All girl collectors are request-
ed to meet at the Hadassah
headquarters, in the Avalon
Bldg., Davison and Linwood, on
Sunday morning at 10 o'clock,
to receive their assignments.
Jewish National Fund is the
only means through which land
is purchased in Palestine in the
name of the Jewish people. The
urgency for more land should be
apparent to every thinking per-
son—both for the vital part it
can play in the present war by
supplying more food for the
soldiers in the East, and the
part it will play in the future
by having more land on which
to settle the thousands of desti-
tute Jews of Europe.
