thur Jaffin, son of Mr. and Mrs.
A. Jaffin, Clairmount Ave. The
bride wore a gown of white
satin with long torso and the
full skirt ending in a long train.
Her long veil edged with lace
fell from a crown of seed pearls
and she carried a bouquet of
gardenias.
Mrs. B. Hitow was matron of
honor, Thelma Jeffin, maid of
honor and the bridesmaids were
Mrs. L. Wonboy, and Mrs. E.
Mandell.
Manuel Rott, the bride's uncle
acted as best man with the fol-
lowing ushers, L. Wonboy, E.
Mandell. Elliott Rott was ring
bearer and Cinka Millie Bern-
stein acted as flower girl.

The 1943
The meeting of Nov. 22 was
highlighted by the proposal of
a program of speaking before
various organizations on Jewish
topics. The outline of the plan
was presented by speaker Sam
Schwartz and was accepted by
the club.
The meeting then went into
the program of the afternoon
which consisted of speeches on a
variety of topics. On the program
were Don Schiff, who spoke on
"Youth Today"; Jack Oppenheim,
who recited "In Memoriam" by
T. R. Lawrence; Lawrence Herz-
berg, "The Managerial Revolu-
tion"; Larry J. Arden, who re-
cited some selections from
"Poems in Praise of Practically
Nothing" by Samuel Hoffenstein,
and Myron Rosenthal, who dis-
cussed the magazine "In Fact".
Lawrence Herzberg was chosen
best speaker of the afternoon.
George Rosenbaum then gave the
critic's report. The meeting was
adjourned after an interesting
"Good to the House".

INFORMATION WANTED
Information is being sought of
Harry Nyowitz, or Nayowitz,
also known as Berke, Berki, who
disappeared from his home in
Brooklyn, N. Y., in January,
1938, and since then has ffailed
to contribute to the support of
his wife and minor child, as a
result of which they are in des-
titute circumstances and depend-
ent upon the public charities.
Mr. Nyowitz, who was born in
Hungary, about 51 years ago, is
5 ft. 5 in. tall, weighed 125
pounds, has dark blond hair, blue
eyes, was a shirt ironer by oc-
cupation. Anyone aware of his
locution is requested to com-
municate with the National De-
sertion Bureau, 67 West 47th
St., New York City.
