Cub Pack Final Meeting UNVEILING
The Jewish Community Cen-
ter's Cub Jack No. 369, will
hold its last meeting of the
season of 1941-42 on Sunday,
June 4, at 2 :30 p. m., in the
Rose Sittig Cohen Bldg., accord-
ing to an announcement made
by Murray J. Lipsitt, chairman
of the Pack Committee. A spe-
cial feature of the program will
be a minstrel show presented by
the Dens of the Pack. The min-
strel show was prepared and di-
rected by Merton M. Ertz, Pack
cubmaster. He was assisted by
the following Den Mothers: Mrs.
W. Weisberg, Mrs. S. Morris,
Mrs. B. Fried, Mrs. Diem, Mrs.
B. Purnell and Mrs. B. Fried-
man. Arthur Goldberg is assist-

Funeral services for Israel
Kahn, Detroit furrier who died
Friday, June 5, in Harper Hos-
pital following a long illness,
were held on Sunday in the He-
brew Memorial Chapel, 2995 Joy
Road. Burial was in Beth Ye-
huda Cemetery. Born in Austria
54 years ago, Mr. Kahn came to
this country as a young man.
He lived in Detroit for more
than 20 years and was one of
the founders of the Globe Fur
Co. He lived at 610 Blaine Ave.
Mr. Kahn was a member of
Craftsman Lodge No. 521, F.
& A. M., and Moslem Temple of
the Shrine. Surviving are a nep-
hew, Philip Kahane, and a niece,
Anne Kahane, of Detroit.

MRS. SARAH GRANET
Funeral services for Mrs.
Sarah Granet were held at 4:30
p. m. on Sunday at the Lewis
Bros. Funeral Home, 7733 John
R St., with burial in Cloverhill
Cemetery. Mrs. Granet died Fri-
day, June 5, after a week's ill-
ness in Harper Hospital. Born in
Sault Ste. Marie, she had lived
here since she was four years
old. She began designing clothes,
following her marriage to Jules
Granet, and her work attracted
the notice of Klines, women's
apparel shop. She had been on
Klines' staff since March 17,
1930. During the World War she
served as docket clerk for Draft
Board No. 4. Mrs. Granet is
survived by her husband; her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph
Kozlow, and a brother, Max J.
Kay, attorney.
