a. m. to 5 p. m.
A group of 135 women who
indicated that they are interested
in some other phase of defense
work or public relations are be-

Morris Schaver, chairman of
the drive for the 12th consecutive
year, states that the enthusiasm
evinced thus far augurs well for
the drive.
Due to the inability of Isaac
Hamlin, national secretary, to
come to Detroit on that day,
last Thursday's rally was ad-
dressed by Dr. Mae Bear
Mereminsky, and in her own
rights a leader in the women's
Histadrut circles in Palestine.
Hundreds of workers attend
the weekly rallies on Thursdays.
A prominent speaker will address
the gathering next Thursday, at
the Lachar Hall, 8939 12th St.
Delegates of all Jewish organ-
