The Ideal Home, Located on West Outer Drive,

at San Juan, Just West of Livernois, Is Open
10:00 a. in. to 9 p. in., Daily and Sunday

Through March 2

Whether you are building a new home or are
already comfortably settled, you owe it to
yourself to see the 1942 Detroit Builders Show
Ideal Home. For here comfort and beauty and
practicality have been woven skilfully into each
room setting to achieve arrangements that are
outstanding. Furniture, draperies, carpeting, and
other accessories ate in the traditional feeling,
and the color scheme pursues the same general
vein throughout. As you walk through the
house, notice in particular these room settings:
the large room immediately' off the entrance—
living room, a reading alcove, and a dining
room space all combined in one; the step-
saving kitchen, planned and executed by Hud-
son's Kitchen Planning Department; and the
completely equipped basement.
