the Jewish Consumptive Relief
Society of Denver, held a board
meeting on Nov. 11, at the home
of the vice-president, Mrs. Fried-
good. The chairman of the board,
Mrs. S. Waterstone, opened the
meeting. Plans were discussed
for the forthcoming 10th annual
banquet, to be held Dec. 7, at
Congregation Bnai David, Elm-
hurst at 14th.

Postponed Due to
His Sudden Illness
The testimonial dinner that
was planned for last Monday eve-
ning in honor of Samuel D. Wein-
berg, on the occasion of the pub-
lication by the Jewish Welfare
Federation of his Yiddish book
"Jewish Social Services of De-
troit," was indefinitely postponed
due to Mr. Weinberg's sudden
illness.
Mr. Weinberg, who took sick
on Friday evening, Nov. 7, will
be confined to bed for several
weeks.
