To Address League
Of Jewish Youth
The first full meeting of dele-
gates of the constituent members
of the League of Detroit Jewish
Youth will be held on Tuesday,
April 22, at 8:30 p. m. in Butzel
Hall of the Jewish Community
Center, at Woodward and Hol-
brook, announces Rubin Gold,
chairman of the organization
committee.
At this meeting reports will be
received from the committees on
membership and publicity, pro-
gram, and nominations. Follow-
ing the reports, election of offi-
cers and members of the execu-
tive board will be held. Greet-
ings to the newly formed organ-
ization will be extended by Abra-
ham Srere, president of the Jew-
ish Welfare Federation, Simon
Shetzer, president of the Jewish
Community Council, and Henry
Meyers, president of the Jewish
Community Center.
The main address of the even-
ing will be delivered by Rabbi
Selwyn D. Ruslander, director of
the National Federation of Tem-
ple Youth, who is known to De-
troit youth as a dynamic speaker
and aggressive leader of youth
movements. Rabbi Ruslander's ad-
dress will be based upon his
knowledge of youth work in com-
munities all over the country.
It is eagerly awaited by the lead-
ers of the oustanding Jewish
youth organizations now compos-
ing the League of Detroit Jew-
ish Youth.
While the meeting is designed
primarily for official delegates,
interested members of Jewish
youth organizations will be wel-
come. There is no admission
charge.

dinner dance to be held at Sak's
Show Bar, Sunday, May 18, ad-
vanced with favorable reports

ton and M. Fink.
Mrs. H. Gelperin announced
that all members bringing in $50
or more will on their own accord
entertain the groyp with a spe-
cial luncheon and mah jong
party.
Mrs. Nathan Reisman is chair-
man of the dinner dance and
Mrs. Wm. Sucher is chairman
of the year book.
