BOOK OF HUMOR

The fascinating "Book of Jew-
ish Humor" opens up for the
first time to the English reader
the incredible deeds and droll
sayings of the famous "Wise
- Mn of Chelan"' These- stories
have been assembled and retold
by Rufus Learsi, well-known au-
thor, who portrays these serio-
comic personages as flesh and
blood figures who charm by their
absurdity as well as by their
sheer humanity. In addition to
the Chelem stories, the author
has included a number of other
tales and anecdotes which do
justice to various types of Jewish
humor and mirror a distinctive
life and a sensitive people that
is able to laugh at its own foibles,
follies and mishaps. The book
is published by Bloch Publishing

Kosher for Passover

Throughout the year, we have been publicizing

the 0 endorsement of The Union of Orthodox
f eteish Congregations of America, found on
the labels of more than 50 of our varieties. Lest

this publicity be misleading to anyone, we state
that this endorsement refers to year-round use.
It does not refer to the week of Passover. We

make no foods that are "Pesachdig".

We wish our many friends everywhere a Happy

Passover!
