`MORTAL STORM'
IN SECOND WEEK

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rosen-
sweet returned from Chicago,
where they attended the gradua-
tion of their sons, Harold and
Martin, from Northern Illinois
College of Optometry. Both grad-
uated with Magna Cum Laude
honors. Dr. Harold Rosensweet
was a warded the Optometric Sci-
ence Award.

The great movie, based on
Phyllis Bottom's 'Mortal Storm',
and shown under the same title,
remains for a second week at
United Artists' Theater. This film

depicts the Nazi horror in its
true colors, as it first became evi-
dent in Germany. Comment upon
this picture will be found in
"Purely Commentary" column in
this issue.
When Phyllis Bottom loosed
her fearless pen, dipped in the
well of experience, she placed

sensational material in the hands
of every showman resolved to put
over a great campaign on the
picture. "The Mortal Storm"
caused a wave of nation-wide dis-
cussion, controversy, attacks and
counter-attacks among readers,
writers, propagandists, editors
and men in the public eye.

Today, it is truer and more
startling than ever . . . more of
a bombshell for fearless, two-
fisted exploitation. It was a best-
seller as a book because of its
astonishing factual disclosures.
Now, as a picture, it is a thrill-
ing and amazing presentation of

life as it is lived today.

gation Adas Yeshurun, Tyler and
Linwood. Dinner and reception
