Palestine Labor Weekly
Celebrates First Anniver-
sary in January
TEL AVIV. — Marking the
completion of its first year of
publication, Davar Lagola, Pales-
tine labor weekly, has already
achieved the distinction of being
the most widely read Hebrew per-
iodical sent from Palestine to the
Diaspora. Born in the midst of
the critical stages of the Arab
riots, it has served as a source
of news and interpretation for
thousands of readers all over the
world, including many American
Hebrew readers. It has survived
the first four months of the Euro-
pean war, despite the liquidation
of many of its former sources of
readers in Poland, and despite the
severe economic situation in Pal-
estine.
Davar Lagola is largely a di-
gest of the Daily Davar published
by the Histadrut.
New subscriptions are being
taken by the Davar Agency, 275
