On Sunday morning, Feb. 5
from 9:30 a. m. to 10 a. m., an
interfaith hour will be featured
in which a rabbi, a priest and a
Protestant minister will partici-
pate in a program designed to
develop better relations between
various faith groups living togeth-
er in our democracy.
Dr. Henry Hitt Crane of the
Central Methodist Episcopal
Church will speak in behalf of
the Protestant church. Father
Joseph Luther, S. J., of the Uni-
versity of Detroit will speak for
the Catholic Diocese. Rabbi
Joshua S. Sperku of Congrega-
tion Bnai David will represent
the Jewish faith.
The choirs of the respective
group will participate in the
musical program.
Bnai David Sisterhood Lit-
erary Meeting Feb. 6
Members and friends of the
Bnai David Sisterhood are invited
to attend the open meeting on
Monday, Feb. 6, at 8:30 P. M.
Mrs. Max Dushkin will present
a review of the new book, "Roots
in the Sky." Mrs. Harris Avison
will be vocal soloist. Mrs. Joseph
Jacobs will preside.
This is one of the series of
open meetings sponsored by the
Sisterhood in connection with its
drive for new members.
