Ark Detroit Jews to Pay
for Books of Late Rabbi
S. M. Fine
The late Rabbi S. Ms Fine, who
was a great Talmudic scholar, de-
voted the greatest part of his life
to the composing and writing of his
works. His books, for a time, not
only provided him with spiritual
satisfaction, but were also a source
of maintenance which he needed
in his constant financial difficul-
ties.
Mrs. Fine, the widow, is in a
bad financial condition, and in
grave need, since there is no other
means of support. Of Rabbi Fine's
latest books like "The Zichere
SVeg," "Anshe Shem," "Yalkut
Sh'muel," and others, which were
distributed among his friends and
patronizers, a small number has
been paid for, while the greater
part of them was not compensated
for at all.
Therefore, all who have books
from Rabbi Fine for which pay-
ment was not remitted should do
it now for the sake of the widow.
Her present address is: Mrs. C. L.
Fine, 2491 Tyler, Detroit, Mich.
