Jewish Community . . .
Two years ago, the undersigned Jewish
members of the staff of Wayne County's Prose-
cuting Attorney — DUNCAN C. McCREA-
addreued you openly through The Jewish
Chronicle in reply to politically motivated slan-
der calculated to malign our superior. You gave
us your confidence at that time by an over-
whelming tide of votes, and for that expression
we are thankful.
Again libelous propaganda and character
assassination raise their ugly heads, but today
these weapons are supplied from a fascist-
supported origin. Only that cause which is
essentially illegitimate seeks to succeed through
the use of unscrupulous tactics, and we refuse
to dignify such a monster by response to ill-
founded charges begotten in viciousness and
