At this season of the year, the Detroit Rabbinical Council,
which includes all of the local qualified Orthodox Rabbis,
deems it proper to caution the observant Jewish public against
the practice of deception by some unscrupulous dealers selling
Passover food articles under false labels with the alluring
words, "Kosher L'Pesach," printed thereon.

two months' stay in Hot Springs,
Ark.

Mrs. Gertrude Waldman and
daughter, Ernestine of Gladstone
Ave. left Miami, Fla. on Sunday
and are expected home the latter
part of this week.

Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffman
of 290 Farnsworth Ave. were
given a surprise party at Lachar's
on Saturday, March 13, in honor
of their 30th anniversary, by their
children: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Pohl, Mr. and Mrs. Meyer Gold-
stein, Marion and Maxwell Hoff-
man. One hundred guests were
present. Many testimonials were
given by the Turover Aid Society
to Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman, charter

27 years. The guests were enter-
tained by Miss Josie Spirer, visit-
ing from Paris, accompanied by
Miss Ruth Sherman. Mrs. Jeanette
