tion Beth Tefila Emanuel in honor
of Rabbi Samuel Moshe Rubin-
stein, one of the directors of the
world-famous Yeshiva of Mir,
Poland.
Rabbi Rubinstein is on a brief
visit in Detroit in the interests of
the Yeshiva, which has students
from countries all over the world,
including the United States and
Canada. lie is here to make an an-
peal in behalf of the Yeshiva,
which is in danger of being closed
unless immediate help is forth-
coming to save it from its eco-
nomic plight.
Famous as a pulpit orator,
Rabbi Rubinstein attracts large
audiences everywhere and is
hailed as one of the outstanding
